En medio de la serie de crímenes y abusos en contra de la niñez presentados durante octubre de 2024 en Colombia, un informe de las autoridades dejó al descubierto nuevos detalles sobre la forma en cómo Darwin Felipe Beltrán, capturado y acusado por la Fiscalía, habría asesinado a Santi Esteban y Susan Camila, sus propios hijos.
Debido al filicidio, que sucedió en una vivienda del barrio Las Ferias, en la localidad de Engativá (al noroccidente de Bogotá), el 28 de octubre, el sospechoso por poco es linchado por la comunidad.
Con los resultados del análisis forense, este sujeto podría quedar más hundido de lo que se encuentra luego de los videos y testimonios que se han recopilado por parte de los investigadores del Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación (CTI), encargado de liderar las pesquisas con las cuales, esperan que la justicia condene al hombre, quien era la única persona que estaba con los dos menores dentro de la vivienda.
Según lo que han revelado las investigaciones, este doble homicidio estaría vinculado a un posible ataque de celos de Beltrán, porque vio a su pareja sentimental caminando por una de las calles del barrio junto a otro hombre.
Antes de que la madre de los menores llegara a la residencia, Beltrán llegó a la casa y con golpes y un cuchillo habría cometido el crimen, según la descripción de los hechos que se conocieron por parte de la misma Fiscalía, y que reveló El Tiempo.

Los resultados de las necropsias
Gracias a las necropsias que realizó el Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses, las autoridades elaboraron un informe en el cual se reveló que los menores de edad fueron asesinados en diferentes circunstancias, y recibieron los ataques de formas distintas, aseguró Noticias Caracol.
Este informe será una de las piezas claves con las cuales el ente investigador buscará la condena de manera definitiva de Beltrán, quien tras la audiencia de imputación de cargos se declaró inocente, y por este motivo podría acarrear una pena que podría ser de hasta 50 años de cárcel. Según los hallazgos del examen post mortem, el pequeño de 4 años habría sufrido varios golpes, en tanto que la niña de 7 años, fue apuñalada con el cuchillo en varias ocasiones.
El impacto en medio de las pesquisas fue tal para los investigadores, que cuando entraron a la vivienda donde encontraron los cuerpos de los menores sin vida, en el barrio Las Ferias, encontraron hasta una nota que decía “Los amo”, y que habría dejado escrita Beltrán. Como si un acto tan vil tuviera forma de justificarse.
En el lugar también se halló el cuchillo con el cual habría cometido el filicidio, y hace parte de una serie de elementos probatorios que serán presentados en la audiencia en la que se espera que este hombre, quien en principio habría confesado el crimen ante algunos de los agentes que lo detuvieron en principio, según versiones de testigos y residentes en la zona.

Sin embargo, tras la audiencia de imputación de cargos decidió no aceptar los cargos, provocando aún más el repudio de la sociedad colombiana, teniendo en cuenta, todas las pruebas que lo comprometen como el autor material del filicidio.
